Description
NuNETICS is a word I coined based on the Arabic letter NuN [pronounced “noon”]. It is represented in the English letter “N” and in both languages that letter means “SEED”. Language grows in the same way that plants grow and, therefore, NuNETICS is the study of how SEED letters produce ROOT words which sprout BRANCHES of knowledge. This study is most important in understanding especially, Qur’anic-based words in that it provides the basis for WHY a word means what it means – going beyond the standard “root word” definitions given by standard scholarship, which are meanings that have unfortunately in many cases been historically manipulated for economic, political and militaristic advantages. NuNETICS gives the common person, both Muslim and non-Muslim, a decent grasp on the intricacies of Qur’anic language by identifying each Arabic letter on 3 corresponding levels: 1) as a part of the human body, 2) as an object in the physical environment, 3) as an abstract idea. As an example, the first letter ALIF is represented in the SPINE as a body part, in the PILLAR of a room or building as an object in the environment and as an abstract AGREEMENT between two which needs to be upheld like the pillar upholds a building and like the spine upholds the body. That meaning is then calculated into the overall description of the word, with the additional root letter(s) allowing the word to then become in effect, a SENTENCE. The meaning is then protected, not by a scholar necessarily, but by G_d through MOTHER NATURE called Al FITRAH in the Qur’anic-Arabic language. Al Fitrah represents the system of interlocking patterns inherent in nature. All things in nature carry patterns that have been designed by its Creator to carry instructing signs [called ayaat in the Qur’an] which are intended to be read by the human intellect. NuNETICS is a linguistic science which has been developed for beginning, intermediate and advanced students to benefit from and most who have read the book state that they have not read the Qur’an the same way since reading NuNETICS.
